MBK UHMW5 is a 5 mil Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Film, coated on one side with acrylic adhesive.  It has a coefficient of friction that rivals Teflon, but is 30 times more abrasion resisistant.   It is ideal in handling issues concerning friction, wear, corrosion, sticking, sliding, gliding, surface protection and noise abatement.  UHMW-PE has excellent chemical and impact resistance making it useful in countless applications.

UHMW-PE is available in rolls with or without adhesive, various thickness (.003 to .020 mil) and colors; natural or black.  Typically, rubber adhesive is used for indoor applications and acrylic adhesive when requiring extreme conditions.  Custom adhesive backings, sizes, shapes and other configurations available upon request.
